The female bodyguard contingent of Gaddafi who were known as “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” were compelled to undergo Female Genital Mutilation [FMG], which is also known as Female Genital Cutting [FMC[, a system mostly practiced in the African countries. It is already reported that All of his girls were said to swear an oath that they would give their lives for him and it was claimed they never left his side, night or day, and he insisted they remain virgins. There was no shortage of volunteers for what was seen as a prestigious job.
Total number of these "Sweet 72" or "Killer Beauties" were though never disclosed, it was leaked one of Gaddafi's ex-girlfriends that, during every 8-hours, there was a contingent of 72 virgins, guarding the Libyan autocrat. A special training college was putting the recruits through a tough physical program and girls who did not drop out emerged as trained killers, experts in firearms and martial arts. Gaddafi made the final selection and, despite his insistence that his guards were chaste, rumors abounded that he was demanding their sexual favors. Gaddafi regularly used to spend evening with his "Sweet 72" or "Killer Beauties" consuming expensive alcoholic beverage and watching Hollywood actions movies.
Female Genital Mutilation [FGM] is a cultural practice that started in Africa approximately 2000 years ago. It is primarily a cultural practice, not a religious practice. But some religions do include FGM as part of their practices. This practice is so well ingrained into these cultures; it defines members of these cultures.
Female Genital Mutilation is the term used for removal of all or just part of the external parts of the female genitalia. There are three varieties to this procedure. Sunna Circumcision – consists of the removal of the prepuce(retractable fold of skin, or hood) and/or the tip of the clitoris. Sunna in Arabic means “tradition”. Clitoridectomy – consists of the removal of the entire clitoris [prepuce and glands] and the removal of the adjacent labia. Infibulation [pharonic circumcision] – consists of performing a clitoridectomy [removal of all or part of the labia minora, the labia majora]. This is then stitched up allowing a small hole to remain open to allow for urine and menstrual blood to flow through. In Africa 85% of FGM cases consist of Clitoridectomy and 15 percent of cases consist of Infibulation. In some cases only the hood is removed.
It is learnt that, Muammar Gaddafi was unwilling seeing his girls falling in love or any kind of romantic affairs with a male. They were strictly under surveillance to ensure none of the “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” of Gaddafi has sexual relations with other men. In a number of cases, at least 5 of the “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” of Gaddafi were killed on spot by other members of this special commando, when they were found having sex with any male members of the Gaddafi guards or even kissing. In all those cases, the female guards along with her male partners were immediately killed.
Muammar Gaddafi use to sleep with 8 of the members of his “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” in his bedroom, two sharing bed with him, while remaining six guarding. Inside Gaddafi’s bedroom, though most of them turned nude, they were always keeping automatic weapons loaded for any emergency period. By rotation, all of the members of “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” were having sexual acts with the Libyan autocrat. Gaddafi’s personal staffs were secretly importing sexual medicine both both Gaddafi and his girls as well as sexual toys such as vibrators and dildos. Though the “Sweet 72″ or “Killer Beauties” were having sex with Gaddafi, none of them were allowed to conceive child.
FMG or FMC is a crime in the eyes of international law. If Gaddafi is captured alive, he should also face charges for this heinous crime alongside many other crimes.
